My father was a commercial vehicle engineer, and I took my first ride in a truck at about 3 weeks old. I grew up with trucks, motorcycles and cars, and that created a life long interest in different vehicles. I've had a few cars, a motorcycle and have been lucky enough to drive a 38 tonner around for an afternoon.
I found that trying to search for the history of different manufacturers was quite difficult, as it involved several searches, with several windows open (at a minimum) and the information could vary tremendously from site to site. This is what prompted me to start my own research into the history of vehicles, and to publish my findings in a downloadable format in order to allow you to have a central point of reference for the history of different manufacturers.
I have several research projects in progress at the moment, and I will be publishing the documents as soon as I am happy with the content and layouts.
